Mandaluyong City Mayor Benjamin C. Abalos, Jr. speaks on the topic of green building with the title “Mandaluyong City: Carrot and Stick for Green Building”, at the 5th Philippine Energy Efficiency Forum (PEEF) before hundreds of leaders and delegates for the most influential gathering of energy efficiency professionals in the Philippines.
Mandaluyong City Green Building Ordinance No. 535, S-2014 is the ordinance made into law to improve efficiency of buildings in the use of natural resources, contribute to the global efforts of reducing Green House Gas (GHG) emissions and reduce the impact of buildings in health and environment.
The event, Energy Smart Philippines 2014 organized by the European Chamber of commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) at the SMX Convention Center.
