The blessing and turn-over ceremony is part of Mayor Abalos’ birthday week celebration activities.

Mandaluyong City Board of Canvassers proclaim Mayor Benhur Abalos, who won by landslide votes in recent elections. Abalos served as city mayor from 1998 to 2004, then lone representative in 2004 and reelected again as city’s chief executive from 2007 to 2010 to present for another 3-year term.
